City & Country partner with resident group to raise funds for the homeless
Children at St Osyth Primary School have been getting festive by participating in a colouring competition to win their Christmas design on a doormat.
City & Country invited pupils from Key Stage 1 and 2 to design their own Christmas-themed doormat, with a winner and runner-up selected from each group. The chosen designs have been cleverly turned into Christmas doormats, with the two winning designs also proudly on display at the entrances to the show home and sales suite at St Osyth Priory.
Dozens of children from across the school took part, and whilst all of the entries were worthy winners, after much deliberation, the winning doormat design from Key Stage 1 was created by Annalie, 7, and the runner-up was Isaac, 5. The Key Stage 2 winning entry was designed by Harley, 10, with Safiya, also 10, the runner-up.
The winners were invited to St Osyth Priory on Friday 17th December to be presented with their printed doormats which they got to take home with them, and Annalie was given the honour of laying a copy of her Christmas doormat in the entrance to the show home while Harley placed his in the sales suite.
Jennifer Rhodes-Finch, Head of Marketing at City & Country, said: “Christmas has come early at St Osyth! We were so impressed by the fantastic drawings the children created, and we couldn’t be happier to display them in our show home and sales suite, bringing some festive cheer to visitors at St Osyth Priory. Bravo to Harley, Annalie, Isaac and Safiya, and a big thank you to all of the pupils that took part in our competition.”
